A Single Jet Wet Type Liquid Sealed Vane Wheel Water Meter is a type of flow meter commonly used to measure the volume of water passing through a pipe. It works by utilizing a vane wheel which rotates as water flows through the meter. The rotation of the vane wheel is then translated into a volume measurement, which can be read on the meter's display.
Compared to a Multijet Water Meter, which uses multiple jets to measure the flow of water, a Single Jet meter is simpler and less expensive to manufacture. However, it may not be as accurate as a Multijet meter in certain situations, such as when the water flow is low or irregular.
Frozen water meters are a common issue in colder climates, where the water inside the meter can freeze and damage the internal components.
